Ask Sydney and Ella: Homework

If you need advice on anything just ask! There is a box in the nurse just for advice so make sure you write to Mrs. Bedell This weeks advice: Homework I always have so much homework that I can't keep up with. Either I forget what I have, or I forget it at home. I don't want to get in trouble again for my homework. What do I do? -Homework Dear Homework, I think you could maybe take a sticky note or paper and place it on something that you always use or see right when you get home or after school so you know what to do for class. For when you leave in the morning and don't want to forget your homework or anything else that you need just make a checklist! You can get something to hang up on your wall and write what you need for the day. You should make tabs on it so when you check it you close the tabs so you know what you have and what you need to get! This is also a great craft to do when you have nothing to do! Make sure you write to us: lbedell@vil.ma

Village Spelling Bee

By Peter S. In case you didn’t know, (you probably did) Village school recently did a spelling bee to find a contestant for The Daily Items 32nd Regional spelling bee. The winner of THAT spelling bee will move on to the Scripps national spelling bee. I can give you exact details because I WAS in the spelling bee. the spelling bee went on for about 13 minutes. In the end the winner was Graham Kramer. It is a great opportunity for Graham. all we can hope is that he wins And brings glory to Village School

Opinion: Indoor Recess

Why Always Indoor?         By: Lucas P.B. Over the past few days, Village School has been having indoor recess. There is a decant explanation for this, black ice! Watch out for this slippery substance, it can be very hidden. Maybe it is better outside than inside while the flu is spreading around. It is also good because everyone should get some fresh air!

But it’s all coming to an end (at least, the video part of the store). On March 31, 2018 the doors of Chet’s videos will be closed for good. Thank you so much to Chet Strout for dedicating your time to Chet’s Video & Candy Shoppe. We all know that it will be hard to say goodbye to something we’ve known and loved for so long.
